He was John Malia. John's Son John Aloyicious Malia not only worked in the Silver King Mine, he became the Secretary of the Mine Association and then went on to be the State of Utah's Bank Examiner under two governors. Many people that work in Park City do not even know that it was a mining boom town. Malia is the oldest recorded Irish Family name.
